Over 20 years of experience, and a genuine passion for empowering the next generation of designers.
As a seasoned design leader, I understand the challenges and obstacles that designers face in their careers. With a background in design education and a wide range of professional experience, I can provide the guidance and support you need to succeed.
As a former head of a design bootcamp and current professor of design, I've taught hundreds of students from all backgrounds achieve their goals. Many have gone on to work for companies like Google, Amazon, Meta, and Apple. And as a past VP and design executive, I've led innovation efforts for startups as well as world-renowned brands like Porsche, The Home Depot, American Express, and Intel.
But perhaps most importantly, I've been both a people manager and an individual contributor, so I understand the path from both sides.

It's a 45-minute one-on-one video call with me for $150. You bring the question or the work, such as a portfolio, a case study, or a decision you're weighing, and we spend the time on that. You book any open slot through Calendly, and there's no commitment beyond the one call.
Up to 2 calls a month, unlimited Q&A by chat, a personalized roadmap, and monthly action items. It runs through MentorCruise at $270 a month, and you can pause or cancel anytime.
It follows five steps. I start by understanding your goals, timeline, and current abilities. Together we build a roadmap. You get monthly action items with curated resources. Each session looks at how you're progressing, and we adjust the plan when the results call for it.
Mentorship is open-ended, and you set the topic each time. The Portfolio Program is a fixed set of eight 1:1 sessions for $999 that rebuilds your case studies step by step. If your portfolio is the main thing holding you back and you already have projects to show, the program is the better fit.
